Company Health Check FAQ

This can be a one-off piece of work but in most cases the initial review identifies many projects that if completed could help the business move forwards and potentially grow.
Working with someone outside of the business can bring a different perspective as we're not involved in the day to day running of the business. Some of the areas covered, but not limited to, in an initial review are:
• reviewing and proposing updates to operational finance processes
• recommending automation where possible, to introduce efficiency and cut out duplication
• suggested apps that link with your finance software to ensure accuracy of data
• introducing any missing financial controls with segregation of duties and validation checks
• proposed training plans for your staff and identification of missing skills, specifically the finance team (at all levels)
• risks identified and initial proposals for mitigating these risks
We will chat to you about how the Company Health check will take place and depending on the size of your business, how long the initial review will take. We take a 121 personal approach to the health check and can focus on any areas identified by the business owner and directors if requested.

The life of a company changes regularly, in some cases a direction may change every quarter depending on the challenges faced by the business or the decisions made by the business owners or directors.
