So, Who Are Troy Accounting?

Helen and Boo have an amazing team who support each other, and most importantly as individuals, we are what you see – genuine and passionate about everything we do.

Our mission is to cut through the number crunching and accountancy stereotype and support our clients on their business journey to success. Business is personal. It's about creating genuine business relationships and being fluid around each individual and their business.

Humble beginnings...

It all began when we were just eleven years old...

We are friends who have known each other since school and still share the same values and interests in both personal and business life. Whether it’s salsa or reading, travelling or walking in the woods, producing accounts or strategic business development, we are enthusiastic about it all. 

We're Qualified Chartered Accountants with 20+ years of experience each and have worked in a range of businesses, from start-up companies to managing multi-million turnover business finances.

We can see the full potential in you and your business, both of which are unlike any other person or business. 

When you're really you, and we're really us, we're free to form an open and collaborative business relationship that enables us to support the whole of your business.

Helen Clements

I’ve worked in businesses from start-ups through to national multi-million turnover companies but never felt my true self until I started Troy Accounting.

I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant and an NLP Practitioner and started Troy Accounting in 2016.

Everywhere I worked previously I was building teams, creating relationships that work, changing systems, motivating and challenging the leadership teams to do more and now I can do that with many businesses. I want to empower business owners through knowledge and give them the confidence to succeed.

When I’m not working you can find me either dancing salsa, walking the dog or catching up with friends and family.

And my “Why” you may ask?

I want to inspire others so that we can all live boldly and create lives we love and can live fully as ourselves.

Boo Donovan

I’ve worked for large global companies in senior finance positions and joined Troy Accounting in 2018.

I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience.

The thing I love about Troy Accounting is that I get to share all that experience in business, relationships and personal skills with our clients, and really make a difference in their businesses

Did you know that my “official name” is Lisa, but I’ve only answered to Boo since I was 15 years old (other than to my parents of course!).

In my personal life, the thing most important to me is spending time with my husband and two children. We’re lucky enough to live close to the water, so you can usually find us out walking by it or in the case of the kids, they’re in it!! When we’re not doing that though, the house is filled with music and the smell of cooking which are our other passions!!

And my “Why” you may ask?

To encourage others so that we can see the opportunities around us and make changes to live a fulfilled life

Emilia Cerazy

I am an enthusiastic and motivated trainee balancing a career and motherhood. I think of myself as a person who can build interest in a lot of different areas, such as cooking or DIY projects – I like keeping busy and having different things to do!

I consider myself as a “forever student” and I want to be hungry for knowledge my entire life!

Studying for an accounting and finance degree proves my determination to do well academically as well as it demonstrates my commitment to these subjects. As a part of my trainee contract, I am currently studying for the globally recognised ACA qualification.

Having a family and raising children is another important aspect of my life. I’ve got two daughters, who in a way make my life more complicated, but I wouldn’t trade the joy they have brought to me for the entire world!!!

To reach my potential and enjoy every moment so that my life is more meaningful
